Dance Performance Information
Airborne Dance produces one recital in late May or early June of every year. As dance is a performing art, performing is an important part of the dance experience! Performing for an audience is also an important skill in life as it can help kids work past nerves when they’re required to give presentations or speeches in school or in other areas. We feel performing in front of family and friends gives the dancers a good goal to work toward for the end of the year.
If you choose to participate in recital, you will be responsible for a recital costume fee in addition to the monthly tuition for your class. The recital fee is due in January and is non-refundable after the recital deadline. The recital deadline is set yearly and is usually the last Saturday in our January billing cycle.
If your student does not wish to perform in the recital or you are unable to attend the performance weekend your dancer must move to a non-recital dance by the enrollment close date in January. All students remaining in recital classes after enrollment closes will be considered as being part of the recital and will be ordered a costume.
Detailed Recital Information will be available at the front desk and in classes approximately mid-December.
